About APDCL
The Assam Power Distribution Company Ltd. was incorporated on the 23rd October, in the year 2009 as a public limited co. wholly owned by the Govt of Assam. The ultimate object of the Co. is to undertake the electricity distribution, trading, supply in Assam State or outside in as per the provisions of Applicable Law & all activities ancillary or appurtenant thereto. The main aim of forming the Co. was to take over, manage &operate the electricity distribution system, liabilities, assets, undertaking of the Assam State Electricity Board as may be transferred to it pursuant to a notified transfer scheme in terms of Part XIII of the Electricity Act, in the year 2003.

APGCL Assistant Manager Recruitment 2017 Eligibility Criteria
Academic Qualification: Interested aspirants must have completed the degree in Engineering from any recognized university of education. And also need to have a Post Graduate Degree with 2 years course with minimum 60% marks. For more details, candidates must visit the official notification of the recruitment.
Age Limitations as on 01st September 2017:
- For Assistant Manager Post: The age limit of the applicants should lie between 21 to 38 years.
- For Junior Manager Post: The age of the applicants should lie between 18 to 38 years.
