About BU
Barkatullah University is also called as Bhopal University. BU was established in the year 1970. The University is situated in Madhya Pradesh state. Bhopal University was renamed to Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya in the year 1988 in memory of Professor Barkatullah, who was a freedom fighter. Currently, more than 170 colleges/ Institutes are affiliated to the Bhopal University.
