About CRPF
The Central Reserve Police Force is the largest Central Armed Police Force in India. CRPF came into existence as the Crown Representative’s Police on 27 July in the year 1939. After Indian Independence, it became the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on enactment of the CRPF Act on 28 December in the year 1949. It functions under the aegis of Ministry of Home Affairs of the Govt of India. The CRPF’s primary role lies in assisting the State/Union Territories in police operations to maintain law & order & counterinsurgency in India.
Central Reserve Police Force Vacancy 2017 Eligibility Criteria
Required Qualification:
- For Field Specialist Post: Interested Candidate must have done Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in concerned Specialty or 1 1/2 years of experience for Degree Holder & 2 1/2 year for Diploma Holder in concerned specialty after Post Graduation from any recognized institute/university.
- For General Duty of Medical Officers Post: Interested Candidate must have done MBBS or Internship from a well-recognized institute.

Age Limitations: Aspirant’s age should limit must not exceed 67 years as on Walk-in-Interview Date. Age relaxation will be applicable for the reserved category as per the government rules & regulations.
