Cochin Shipyard Apprentice Vacancy 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Interested candidates must have completed the Matric / Std X with a mini. of 50% marks & ITI Exam (Provisional National Trade Certificate acceptable) in relevant Trade with mini. 65% marks. For more details, candidates must visit the official notification of the recruitment.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit of the candidates is 21 years as on 01 October 2018. Upper age is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST aspirants according to the MOD Letter No. FM/0442/NHQ/1278 D(N-II) dated 14 November 1996 & 3 years for OBCs vide Sl. 4 of G.I., Dept. of Per. & Trg., O.M. No. 36012/22/93-Estt. (SCT), dated 22nd October 1993.
Physical Standards: Height 150 cms, Weight not below than 45Kgs, Chest expansion not below than 5 cms, Ears clear of wax,Eyesight 6/6 to 6/9 (6/9 corrected with glasses), External and internal organs to be normal in accordance with The Apprentices Act 1961 & the rules and regulations framed vide letter No. FM/0442/NHQ/1278/D(N-II) GOI, MOD dated 14 Nov in the year 1996.

Selection Process: Selection of the candidates will be based on the percentage of scores obtained in the basic prescribed qualification as admissible to the relevant disciplines.
