In Part-B:
- The Limitation Act, 1963.
- The Indian Contract Act, 1872.
- The Code of Civil Procedure, 1908.
- The Constitution of India – [Part-III – Fundamental Rights(Articles 12 to 35A) & Part-IVA – Fundamental Duties.
In Part-C:
- Knowledge of English language, Numerical & Mental Ability, Basis of computer application, general knowledge & test of reasoning.
- The total 75 questions of the preliminary examination paper will be in English and the remaining 25 question is in Gujarati.
- The preliminary paper will be online (objective type) OMR Sheet based.
- Each question of this paper will carry 01 marks each along with 0.33 marks in every wrong answer.
- In the preliminary examination, a candidate needs to secure a minimum of 50 marks to be eligible for the next Main written examination.
- For the main Written examination:
- The main examination is also divided into three sections based on the syllabus.

- The Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015.
- The Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956.
- The Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.
- The Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969.
- Pre-conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex Selection) Act, 1994.
In Paper-II (Civil):
- The Limitation Act, 1963.
- The Specific Relief Act, 1963.
- The Gujarat Court Fees Act, 2004.
- The Indian Contract Act, 1872.
- The Code of Civil Procedure, 1908.
- The Indian Partnership Act, 1932.
In Paper-III (Gujarati Language): about 25% of all remaining questions.
- In the main written examination, the question paper-I and question paper-II will be in English, while the remaining 25% will be available in Gujarati.
- Candidates belong to SC & ST should have minimum 45% marks in this examination for the oral or Viva-voce based interview test.
- And for the other categories’ candidates, the minimum mark should be 50% for the final Viva-voce or oral interview test.
