It is a Teacher Eligibility Test conducted annually to recruit teachers by Board of School Education, Haryana. These teachers will be employed in the government schools which are recognized by the Department of School Education.

The examination is conducted at three levels as mentioned below:

Haryana TET Online Form: The next exam is scheduled to be conducted on the 5th and 6th of January 2019. Previously, it was planned to be held on 22nd and 23rd December. Eligibility Criteria | Haryana TET Online Form

The eligibility criterion is different for different levels. The educational qualifications essential for the different papers are given below:

  1. For appearing in the paper I, the candidates should possess the following qualifications:
  • Passed in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or)

Passed in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education /Special Education/ four years B.El.Ed. (or)

Bachelor degree in any area and passed or appearing in final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education /Special Education/ four years B.El.Ed.

  • Hindi/Sanskrit should have been one of the subjects in matric or Hindi should have been one of the Subjects in Sr. Secondary or Graduation or Post Graduation.

 

  1. For appearing in paper II, the candidates should have the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in any area with at least 50% marks and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education /Special Education/ four years B.El.Ed. (or)

Bachelor degree in any area with 50% marks and B.Ed/ B.Ed  special Degree. (or)

Passed in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 Year BA B.Ed / B.Com B.Ed Degree.

  • Hindi/Sanskrit should have been one of the subjects in matric or Hindi should have been one of the Subjects in Sr. Secondary or Post Graduation or Graduation.
  • Refer the notification for more details on subject wise criteria.

 

  1. For appearing in the paper III, the candidates should possess the qualifications given below:
  • Post Graduate (PG) Degree in any subject with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.
  • Hindi/Sanskrit should have been one of the subjects in matric or Hindi should have been one of the Subjects in Sr. Secondary or Post Graduation or Graduation.

  • Good academic record.

Exam Pattern Details | Haryana TET Online Form

Haryana TET Online Form: All the papers in Haryana TET consist of multiple choice questions. Every right answer is awarded one mark. There is no penalty for wrong answers in the form of negative marks. But the scheme of examination is different for different levels. The examination is held in the conventional pattern.

Paper I:

The questions asked in this paper will cover the syllabus prescribed for the classes from I to V but the difficulty level may go up to secondary level. The total number of 150 marks are divided into the following pattern.

Selection Criteria

The final selection of the candidates is done based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination comprising of three papers.

  2. Go through the notification carefully.
  3. Click the link for online filing of the application form.
  4. After clicking ‘Apply Online’, fill all the particulars appropriately.
  5. Then, you need to scan your photograph and signature based on the specifications given and upload those scanned copies.
  6. Give the final submission and download the application form.
  7. A printout of the application form can also be taken for future reference.
