About HPBOSE
HPBOSE is called as Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, Dharamshala came into existence in the year 1969 as per Himachal Pradesh Act No. 14 of 1968 with its head-quarter is located at Shimla later shifted to Dharamshala in January in the year 1983. The HPBOSE Board commenced with a staff of 34 officials which has subsequently increased to 643. At present, the Board organizes the written examination for the following classes & programs: 10th, 10+2, J.B.T & T.T.C. As many as 5 Lakh applicants annually appear in the written examination organized by the Board.
