Indian Army Vacancy 2017 Eligibility Criteria
Indian Army has invited the Indian Army Soldier General Duty Recruitment 2017 Online Application Form will be invited from the interested and eligible candidates for various vacancies for the posts in the department on or before deadline date that is 24th November 2017. Candidates can check the eligibility criteria of the vacancy and read it carefully before applying for the recruitment from the below article.
Educational Qualification:
- For Soldier General Duty: Candidates must have done Metric/SSLC/10th Class pass from Education Boards or Institutions recognized for enrolment with minimum 33% marks in each subject (not applicable in additional subjects) and 45% marks in aggregate with the exception that the candidates from Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwa Vidyalaya, Varanasi, in addition, must have passed Purva Madhyam with English as compulsory subject.
- For Soldier Clerk / Store Keeper: Candidates must have completed 12th Standard or equivalent pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% in aggregate and 50% in each subject from Education Boards or Intermediate Institutions recognized for enrolment.
- For Soldier Technical: Candidates must have done 12th Standard or Intermediate exam passed in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English, Biology, and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject from Education Boards/Institutions recognized OR Three years Diploma in Engg (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Automobiles/Computer Science Mechanical Engg and Electronic & Instrumentation Engg) from a recognized Polytechnic Institution.
- For Soldier Tradesmen (TDN): Candidates must have passed 8th Standard or 10th Standard from a recognized board or institutions.
Age Limitation: The minimum age limit for the applicants is 17 years and the maximum age limit for the applicants is 21 years.
Age Relaxation: The relaxation in age will be given only to reserved category applicants as per the rules of the department.
Application Fees: Candidates who are applying for the Indian Army Jobs 2017 they do not have to pay any application fees.
Selection Process: The applicants will be selected on the basis of their performance in the following rounds.
