About NIOS
The National Institute of Open Schooling formerly National Open School. It is the board of education under the Union Govt of India. It was formed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India in the year 1989 to provide education to remote areas under the motive to increase literacy & aimed forward for flexible learning.
