About NMRC
The Noida Metro Rail Corporation is an under-construction metro system connecting the cities of Noida and Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh. The metro network consists of one color-coded line, with a total length of 29.7 kms serving twenty-two stations. The trains are composed of 4 cars. The power input is supplied by 25kV AC. Trials will take place in December in the year 2017, while the line is expected to be thrown open to the commuters before April in the year 2018. The Noida Metro Rail Corporation Limited will build & operate the system. Construction of the system commenced in late in the year 2014 and is expected for commercial operation by April in the year 2018. A Memorandum of Understanding was inked between the 2 companies in March this year.
