UPPSC Prosecuting Officer APO Recruitment Online Form 2019

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has just released the latest notification for the recruitment to the posts of Assistant Prosecuting Officer on 28th December 2018. So, eligible aspirants can apply through online from 28th December 2018 to 25th January 2019. Aspirants will go to fill 17 Assistant Prosecuting Officer positions in the official website to get further information about this recruitment and notification.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

The candidates must have Law Degree from any recognized University up to the last date for receipt of application. Preferential: Other things being equal such candidate shall be given preference that has served for a minimum period of two years in Territorial Army or has obtained “B” certificate of N.C.C.

Age Limit

Candidates must have earned the age of 21 years and should not have crossed the age of 40 years on July 1, 2018 i.e. they are must have not been born earlier than 2nd July 1978 and not later than July 1, 1997. The maximum age limit is 55 years for PH candidates, i.e. they are must have not been born before 02 July, 1963.

Relaxation in higher Age Limit: (a) Upper age limit shall be greater by 5 years for candidates belonging to SC of U.P., Scheduled Tribes of U.P., Other Backward Classes of U.P., experienced players of classified Games, State Govt. employees of U.P. including the Staff/ teachers of Basic Shiksha Parishad of U.P. and teachers/Staff of the Govt. Aided Madhyamik Vidyalayas of U.P. i.e. they must have to remember they are not born before 2nd July 1973.(b) Upper age limit shall be greater by 5 years for the Emergency Commissioned Short/ Officers Service Commissioned Officers/Ex-Army Personnel of U.P. who have rendered a minimum of 5 years service in Army, but there shall be no reservation.


Selected aspirants will earn monthly payment is Rs. 47,000/- to Rs. 1,51,100/-

Procedure of selection will be based on written examination and interview.

Application Process

Through online mode aspirants may apply the application forms for the post of Assistant Prosecuting Officer in UPPSC Recruitment Notification from 28th December 2018 to 22nd January 2019.

Application Fee

After completing the procedure of first stage of the On-line Application process, Category wise prescribed examination fee is to be deposited as per instructions provided in second stage. The prescribed amount of Preliminary examination for different categories is as under:-

  • Unreserved / Other – Exam amount Rs. 100/- + On-line processing Backward Class fee amount Rs. 25/- Total = Rs. 125/-
  • Scheduled Caste – Exam fee amount Rs. 40/- + On-line processing Scheduled Tribe fee amount Rs. 25/- Total = Rs. 65/-
  • Handicapped – Exam fee NIL + On-line processing fee amount Rs. 25/- Total = Rs. 25/-

Important Instructions for Candidates

Modify Submitted Application: If a candidate comes to know about any errors in the submitted application form except in exam, name and type of recruitment, E-mail ID, Registered Mobile Number,  Aadhaar Number and such cases where prescribed amount for modified category is higher (In case of error in these entries, candidate may submit new online application with prescribed fee only as previously deposited amount will neither be adjusted nor refunded) he/she will be given only one opportunity to modify it/them according to the following procedure before the last date of the submission of application form.

Candidate must have to click on ‘Modify Submitted Application‘ under ‘Online application process’ in Candidate Segment. After that ‘Personal Details of Candidate‘ will be displayed on the screen to fill in Registration No., Gender, Date of Birth, Domicile and Category. After filling the Verification code the candidate must have to click on the ‘proceed‘ button following which for Authentication of the candidate OTP (One Time Password) will be sent on the registered mobile no. of the candidate and the Option button box will be displayed on the screen to fill in the OTP. After the candidate has filled in the One Time Password and clicks on the ‘proceed‘ button his/her previously submitted on line application form will be displayed on the screen. The candidate may submit his/her on line application form after making required modifications in it.
