UPTET Application Form 2018 Eligibility Criteria

All the eligible and talented candidates who are going to appear in the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2018 they must read the below eligibility criteria details very carefully then apply online for the UPTET 2018 Application Form on or before the closing date.

Educational Qualification:

• For Primary Level Teacher (Class I- V): Candidates must have done Graduation Degree with minimum 50% marks with 2 years Diploma in special education or BTC Training from UP or 4 years Diploma in elementary education or BTC (Urdu) 2 years Course or 12^th Standard with 04 years B.El.Ed Course.
• For Upper Primary Level Teacher (Class VI–VIII): Candidates must have done Graduation Degree with minimum 50% marks or B.Ed in Pedagogy BTC training from UP or 2 years program in BTC or 12^th Standard with 4 years B.El.Ed Course.

Age Limitation: The minimum age limit for the candidates is 18 years and the maximum age limit for the candidates is 40 years.

Age Relaxation: The relaxation in age will be given only to reserved category candidates as per the norms of the government.

Application Fees: For General and OBC category candidates they need to pay application fees of Rs 400/- and the SC/St category candidates they need to pay application fees of Rs 250/-.

Selection Procedure: Candidates who have applied for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test they will be selected on the basis of entrance exam and the candidates need to score minimum 60% marks to get selected.
